William is currently serving at Cherry Point, North Carolina where he is back with his original unit after volunteering seven months in Afghanistan with the 24th MEU.  He got back just in time for Thanksgiving '08.  Will expects to return to Afghanistan this summer when his unit makes their scheduled rotation. For now,  he is close enough to home to visit every couple months.
